Thank you for viewing my page! Searching for a therapist that fits your needs can be a daunting task, so I want to congratulate you for taking this first step. As a therapist (and human), my primary goal is to foster a collaborative, compassionate, and judgment-free space that empowers you to make positive changes in your mental health and how you interact with others. I firmly believe that you are the expert in your lived experiences, and I’m an expert in mental health. Let’s combine forces to cultivate the life that YOU want!

I was first introduced to Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) while working as an Office Manager at an outpatient mental health clinic that offered DBT Skills groups. What gravitated me toward DBT is, quite literally, the skills! I appreciate that DBT teaches skills that can help
everyone cope with strong emotions that accompany various life stressors and choose behaviors that cultivate a life worth living.

I’m a therapist in training working towards my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Miami University. I have experience working with kids, teens, young adults, and parents/caregivers to target a variety of concerns such as emotion regulation (e.g., depression, anxiety, anger/irritability), suicidal ideation, self-harm urges and behaviors, disruptive/noncompliant behaviors, interpersonal conflict, stress management, parenting issues, and coping with identity-related concerns (e.g., microaggressions). I am open to working with individuals and families across various identities (e.g., race/ethnicity, religion/spirituality, gender, sexuality, disability) and have significant experience working with neurodivergent (e.g., ADHD, autism) and LGBTQ+ individuals. I also have experience incorporating aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Parent Management Training (PMT) into treatment.
